          Domestic Violence Awareness Month Resources October 2011

 

  In 1989, US Congress passed a law designating the month of October as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each year in October DV advocates, DV task forces members, and social services agencies across the United States collaborate to form an untied front to bring awareness and education to our communities about the issues and barriers that domestic violence victims face.
